Discovery North of Viet Nam 10 Days

DAY 1: HANOI - ARRIVAL

• Our driver will pick you up at the airport with your name on board, then transfer you to Hanoi Old Quarter. Check-in and relax at the hotel. Lunch/dinner at your account. Overnight in Hanoi city full day.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B, L)

• AM: 7.45 – 8.15: Free pick up at your hotel. Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam). Then visit Bat Trang pottery village (applied on Mon, Wed & Fri). Lunch at a local restaurant.
• PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. Enjoy 45 minutes for Water Puppet Show, In the end, journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Overnight in Hanoi city.

DAY 3: HANOI - HOA LU - MUA CAVE - TAM COC (B, L)

• 7:00-7:30 am Our driver and tour guide pick you up at hotels in the Old Quarter Area, Hanoi. Head the south of Hanoi for 110 km. After 2 hours, you will arrive in Ninh Binh. First stop at Hoa Lu, you will have quick visit two temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen... to know why Hoa Lu was built as the capital of Vietnam in ending of nine century. Second stop at Mua Cave full day - the highlight attraction in Ninh Binh, challenge yourself for 500 steps up Cave mountain where you will have a great panorama view of Tam Coc and rice field.
• After that, the bus will head to Tam Coc at noontime. Enjoy delicious set menu lunch cooked by the local chef at quite a bungalow. At 2:00 pm you will have around 1.5 hours of a boat trip on Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc famous for karst water caves and beautiful water rice field. Then cycle for half an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops inside the village (around 4 km). Check-in at Bungalow in Tam Coc. Stay overnight in Tam Coc

DAY 4: TAM COC - CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK (B, L)

• AM: Breakfast at the hotel. 8:30 am Start an interesting day by continuing to go to Cuc Phuong National Park. Our bus picks you up at the hotel going to Cuc Phuong forest in 1 hour. You are not only do trekking in the primary forest but also excellent hiking opportunities abound in the park and you could spend a day trekking through the forest. On the way visit the Cave of Early Man ( had over 7000 years). Picnic lunch in the forest.
• PM: Keep going follow the popular trails will lead you to several ancient trees. Called by the name Cho Chi 1000 years, the oldest tree in the forest. Walk back to the station.
  Drop off at Bungalow in Tam Coc. Stay overnight in Tam Coc

DAY 5: NINH BINH - HALONG BAY (B, L, D)

• 06:30 AM Pick-up at your hotel in Tam Coc, Ninh Binh, and depart for Halong city. 11:30 On arrival at Tuan Chau port, 12:30, you will board your cruise and you are warmly welcomed by a professional and friendly crew. Check into the cabin. Enjoy specially prepared lunch while cruising towards thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from emerald water, passing by Stone Dog islet, floating fishing village, Incense Burner islet, Fighting Chicken islet,… visit Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay. After that do kayaking for an hour, Swimming time, this is a great chance to relax in water, jumping, diving, take a backflip, then join Sunset party on the upper deck… Enjoy dinner at around 19:00. Free time for singing karaoke, dancing, squid fishing, playing cards or relax at leisure… Overnight on boat

DAY 6: HALONG BAY - LAN HA BAY - NAM CAT ISLAND (B, L, D)

• 07:30 Breakfast, fruits, coffee, and tea will be served. Continue to cruise further before stop over the pearl farm to sea real pearl cultivated by local fisherman. 09:00 Back to the cruise for check-out. 09:30 Take a local boat to Lan Ha Bay. 11:30 Check-in at bungalow for whom stay there. 12:00 Lunchtime. 13:30-15:00 Free time for kayaking and many activities in Nam Cat island exploring untouched area in Lan Ha Bay.
• 18:00 Buffet dinner at Bungalow, go fishing, relax on the sandy beach, listening to sea wave at a very peaceful and quiet place.

DAY 7: NAM CAT ISLAND - HALONG BAY - HANOI - NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA (B, L)

• 07:20 Breakfast served at the bungalow. 08:00 Pick-up at Bungalow by boat (If you stay at the hotel in Catba Town: 07:00 Breakfast at the hotel. 07:30 Pick-up at the hotel by bus back to the boat). 09:30 Get on the cruise to attend the cooking class while cruising back Halong harbor. 11:15 Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor around 12 and get on the bus back to Hanoi. 16:30 Transfer you back to your hotel. 20:00 We will pick off you to Tran Quy Cap Train Station. You will overnight on train to Lao Cai province (schedule 21:15 – 06:00)

DAY 8: LAO CAI - SAPA - CAT CAT VILLAGE (B, L, D)

• AM: 6h30 arrive, Lao Cai, pick up at Lao Cai Station then transfer to Sapa. You will have breakfast and some time for R& R, 09h00 Trek to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of Black H' mong tribe. Enjoy the waterfall in Cat Cat and beautiful scenery along the way. Then check-in hotel (check-in after 12:00 PM). Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon: free time to explore & discovery Sa Pa market & Stone church. Back to the hotel for dinner. Overnight in Sapa town.

DAY 9: SAPA - MUONG HOA VALLEY - LAO CHAI - TA VAN - HANOI (B, L)

• After breakfast you check out and leave your luggage in the hotel, get ready for the trip. Trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Day tribes then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village, which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. Have a picnic lunch on the way. You go back to Lao Cai train station. Dinner at your account. You will overnight on train to Hanoi city. (schedule 21:15 – 05:30)

DAY 10: DEPARTURE (B)

• After breakfast, you will get free time until your flight departs. Our driver will pick off you 3 hours before departure time. Northern Vietnam package 10 days 9 nights Tour end here.
